20 miles in 2:30 (7:30 pace) - My longest run to-date this year topped off a 65 mile week - my highest weekly mileage since last June (when I ran 62 miles in 1 day - my highest daily mileage).
Andrew my aim is to get used to running 7:20-40 minute pace over long distances as the specific endurance element of my training for the Connemara ultra.
I started running shortly after my 40th birthday to train for the "once in a lifetime marathon" (mid-life crisis and all that) and haven't been able to stop since. This blog charts my progress as I attempt to go farther and faster than I have ever gone before.

ReplyDeleteI suppose it depends on the run's purpose. Grellan's in excellent shape.
