Am heading to Connema...Just came across your blog. Am heading to Connemara for my first Ultra too, but after running Barcelona in early March. The 3 miles + 1 minute walk sounds ideal. My only concern would be the self-discipline of slowing to a walk, when everyone around you keeps pushing on.<br /><br />What kind of target time have you got in mind? It's out of print but I got a copy on-line and will lend it to you if you want.
